VW&S will meet on Tuesday, August 2

at Hauberg Center, for a Dessert Potluck.  
Come anytime after 6, Potluck starting at 6:30.

Beverages, plates, etc. will be provided.

NO July meeting

At the June meeting, members decided NOT to meet in July.  

We’ll meet again at Hauberg on August 2.

Discussion and Sharing of Techniques for Adding Beads to Knitting.  You’re invited to bring items you’ve made, beads that work especially well, or special tools you’ve used to help you incorporate beads in a knitting project.

Each day, you probably learn something new. In addition to Show and Tell, you're invited to share something fiber related that you’ve learned from an article you’ve recently read, a YouTube video you explored, or something you just plain experienced.  So that all get to participate, limit sharing to 5 minutes.  If we have extra time, more can be shared.

Program:  Navajo/Chain Plying

Demo and discussion led by Denise and Linda.  Bring wheels and anything to add to the discussion if you also do chain plying, or if you want to try this technique.

10:00-2:00 — In the Fireplace Room at the LeClaire Library, 323 Wisconsin Street. It will again be a potluck lunch.  Bring your wheels, knitting, weaving, etc.
